Almost every place in Japan has some local specialities. Those are usually pretty good and sometimes unique. :)

P.S.
I love Onsen!!

Hi I just came back from Japan 2 days ago. It is beautiful there I am so glad that you are going there for your honeymoon.
There is the best resturant in koriyama if you want to go out of your way a little. It is called
Sarara. It is an all you can eat for about 1500 yen. There are gigantic greenhouses and gardens all around. It is very peaceful and the food is the best that I have ever tasted.I am sorry that all I can give you is a name but if you go to Koriyama and find a tourist information place it shouldnt be to hard to find.
Go to a 100 yen store, they have many dishes and table ware such as chopsticks, obento containers, and sesami grinders.
Have fun!
