About the ceramic hob, I'm used to slow cooking :-) Maybe we'll change to induction one day, but rigjt now we don't want to buy anything else as all the things are new. We don't have any gas in the house, but that's just good as I'm afraid of cooking on gas hobs :-) Thanks again everyone.

Hope you enjoy cooking on the ceramic top, when we renovated and replaced the gas with ceramic it was frustrating at how slow the cooking went... am thinking induction will be the way to go. the speed of fire wiht the cleanliness and safety of ceramic. unless you are not so accident prone, i was always setting things on fire. towels, wooden spoons... my clothes. not good :) wow it looks really fantastic as far as apartment kitchens go!!
