Welcome to our new kitchen!

Finally we have bought a wonderful appartment in Stockholm! We were there last Sunday to have a look at 5 different ones, and the bidding was finally over tonight and the contract is signed. We will move in someday between February and March :-) Honestly, this appartment was our second choice but I hope that we will feel at home here as well.
So, do you like our new kitchen with granite bench tops, built-in fan oven, Oak kitchen cabinets, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge and freezer (all other appartments that we looked at had really small ones) and fan? Well, it doesn’t matter because I love it :-)

Hello Dagmar,
Congratulations on your new appartment. The kitchen looks great (hope your cats approve too), and I love the fact that you can chat with people sat at the table whilst you are in the kitchen. Very sociable. It looks also like you will have lots of natural light for food photography!
I hope that you will be happy in your new home.

Thanks everyone! :-)
Anna, yes you’re right about the table and the light!
Anne, I wrote you a mail with more info :-) For all others, the appartment is very central.

Hi Dagmar! I’d prefer a gas hob to a ceramic one, but otherwise your new kitchen looks like a place I’d happily cook in. Congratulations!
(PS Posted the pictures of my sandwich cake earlier today)

wow it looks really fantastic as far as apartment kitchens go!! Hope you enjoy cooking on the ceramic top, when we renovated and replaced the gas with ceramic it was frustrating at how slow the cooking went… am thinking induction will be the way to go. the speed of fire wiht the cleanliness and safety of ceramic. unless you are not so accident prone, i was always setting things on fire. towels, wooden spoons… my clothes. not good :)

I love the kitchen! Welcome to Sthlm :)

Thanks again everyone.
About the ceramic hob, I’m used to slow cooking :-) Maybe we’ll change to induction one day, but rigjt now we don’t want to buy anything else as all the things are new. We don’t have any gas in the house, but that’s just good as I’m afraid of cooking on gas hobs :-)

OMG I love your kithen!
I’m moving soon too (by the end of the month) and I’m getting a bigger kitchen, but not as wonderful as yours, but then again I don’t intend for this appartment to be my last or even one of the last ones ;)

Hi Lexi,
Thanks. I love it too :-) I can’t wait to move in (in the middle of February). Good luck with your move!! I hope that you will feel at home. I know that I will feel at home in the new appartment, but I’m not sure about Stockholm… This will not be the last one neither, the last one/s will be back in Gothenburg :-)
