[...] Ever since I found the recipe for Jägerwecken, stuffed Austrian baguette, on Johanna’s blog it has been mandatory on all my picnics. Everybody seem to love it and it’s the perfect finger food. Just don’t forget to bring a knife to the picnic so you can slice the baguettes. I’ve changed the recipe but the basic concept is still there: a stuffed baguette with a lot of goodies. I prefer using two smaller baguettes instead of a long one as they are easier to stuff but it doesn’t really matter. Stuffed picnic baguettes [...]

oh dagmar, that looks absolutely lovely! I've only been to Copenhagen once, but I adored it... and you must have chosen the most perfect spot!
I am glad you liked my recipes... and your variation on the Jaegerwecken sounds delicious. Isn't it strange how you get completely uninventive with the food you grew up with? a always make it the same way my mum used to... your version sounds delicious! johanna (thepassionatecook)

Hej!

Johanna,

Thank you so much for the recipes, I really enjoyed them. I live in Gothenburg and not Copenhagen but you probably just wrote wrong city :-) I totally agree about being uninventive with the food you grew up with, I never change my childhood recipes neither!

Anonymous,

hejhej!
